CROSS COUNTRY SLIGER WINS AT PRINCETON INVITE: Middletown finished fourth overall as a team, and Philip Sliger won an invitational cross country meet for the third consecutive week Saturday, Sept. 6, with his win at the Princeton Invitational in Sharonville. Sliger won with a time of 17 minutes, 30 seconds. Other top Middie finishers for the boys were: Gabe Staton (14th, 19:10); Andy Bowyer (18th, 19:16); Dusty Dalton (22nd, 19:37); Tarig Habash (24th, 19:42); Michael Cole (25th, 19:48) and Austin Mooney (26th, 19:52). Top Middie girls team performances were turned in by Kathy Mitsoff (24:54), Alysha Thompson (26:13) and Lena Habash (26:48). Middletown returns to action Saturday at the Alliance Running Cross Country Invitational in Clayton.
